2. Accounts & Registration

To bid or purchase on SkyBid you must create a free account using a valid email address and username. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. SkyBid reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use SkyBid. By registering you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Auction Rules

All auctions on SkyBid have a defined start and end time. The highest bid at the time the auction closes wins the lot. Bids are binding — by placing a bid you are committing to purchase the lot if you win.

SkyBid operates snipe protection — if a bid is placed within the final 5 minutes of an auction, the auction end time will be automatically extended by 5 minutes to allow other bidders to respond.

SkyBid reserves the right to cancel any auction or remove any listing at any time without notice.

4. Buy It Now

Some listings are available as fixed price Buy It Now purchases. By clicking Buy It Now you are committing to purchase the bird at the listed price. The sale is binding upon confirmation.

5. Payments

All payments are handled through SkyBid. Upon winning an auction or completing a Buy It Now purchase, our admin team will contact you within [X HOURS/DAYS] with payment details.

6. Delivery & Collection

7. Refunds & Disputes

All sales are final unless the bird is significantly not as described in the listing. If you have a dispute, please contact SkyBid admin within [X DAYS] of receiving the bird.

8. Listings & Pedigrees

Photos and videos are provided for information purposes. Minor variations in appearance may exist between photos and the actual bird.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Place bids without intention to pay
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate bidding
• Provide false information on registration
• Attempt to conduct transactions outside of the SkyBid platform
• Harass or intimidate other users or SkyBid staff

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension and legal action where appropriate.

10. Limitation of Liability

SkyBid acts as a platform facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for the condition, health or performance of any bird sold through the platform beyond what is described in the listing.

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, SkyBid's liability in connection with any transaction shall not exceed the purchase price of the lot in question.

11. Privacy

SkyBid collects and processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. We will never sell your personal data to third parties. Your data is used solely for the purpose of operating the platform and facilitating transactions.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
